The DivaDance HQ Core Values 🌟

I've been thinking about the right time to share this message—and this is the week.

As part of our EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) journey, we've done some deep work and are proud to officially define and share the DivaDance Headquarters Core Values.

Core Values are how a company should hire, work, coach, and if necessary - part ways. They define how how we show up to work, treat each other, and how we manage ourselves (see our first core value!) in the process. Living these values is how we will Inspire Confidence and Build Community for each other, our franchisees, and our members.

If someone falls out of alignment, we’ll have an honest and direct conversation. That’s also what living our values looks like.

If it happens again, we'll part ways—because we owe it to our team, our clients, and our mission to stay congruent. It's the only way we will achieve our mission of becoming a beloved household name, all over the world, for adults who love to dance. 

So here they are—our HQ Core Values. I’d love to hear your thoughts. 

🪞 Lead Yourself First
Take full responsibility for your actions, decisions, and words. Develop self-awareness and reflect regularly to understand both strengths and areas for growth. By becoming the best version of yourself, you inspire and empower those around you, building trust and integrity in your leadership.

🔍 Stay Curious
Place greater value on questions than opinions, and seek understanding over the need to be understood. Welcome constructive feedback, adapt with an open mind, and approach others with a presumption of positive intent.

🍾 Execute with Excellence
Work hard, work smart, and deliver champagne-quality results—every time. Execution is a full journey, not just the start or the finish, but every step in between. It means excellence in collaboration, efficiency, and clear communication. Excellence in execution inspires confidence in our results.

 đź¤ť Do the Right Thing
Make choices you’re proud of, regardless of who’s watching. Foster an environment of belonging and inclusivity by communicating directly with others, ensuring honesty, and acting with kindness and fairness. Speak with integrity, avoiding gossip, hyperbole, or half-truths. Remember that “they” are “we." 

⚡ Lift the Room
Use your presence to elevate the energy in every room. Walk in with intention, bringing positivity and a commitment to enhance the space. Influence the atmosphere by inspiring and uplifting others with every interaction. Leave people, places, and things better than you found them.

Do What You Say You Will Do. This means that words should match actions. Avoid saying one thing and doing another. Ensure congruence between promises and actions, holding yourself accountable to these values.
