Eat The Frog 🐸
This week, I’m leaning into a simple concept with big impact: “Eat the frog.”
The phrase comes from Brian Tracy’s book, Eat That Frog!, and it’s based on a quote often attributed to Mark Twain:
“If it’s your job to eat a frog, it’s best to do it first thing in the morning.” 🐸
In short: tackle your hardest, most important task first. Before distractions, before the easy wins—before your first Diet Coke (a suggestion I got from a wise friend recently).
For me, sending this email is often the frog. It takes focus, vulnerability, and intention. And when I do it first? The whole day flows better. I feel aligned. In control. Confident. Relieved!
So I’ll ask you:
What’s your frog today? 🐸
Maybe it’s a tough conversation.
A big decision.
A project that’s been sitting on your list.
Whatever it is—do it first.
🐸
